Information event for the brain tumor self-help group Mittelhessen

On November 4, 2022, an information event for the brain tumor self-help group Mittelhessen (www.hirntumor-was-nun.de) will take place at the Marburg Ion Beam Therapy Center.

In the interdisciplinary treatment of brain tumors, radiation therapy, along with neurosurgical resection and drug-based tumor therapy, is a crucial therapeutic component.

Modern radiation techniques and procedures, such as particle therapy, could make an important contribution to further improving treatment outcomes for certain brain tumors.

Dr. med. Fabian Eberle, Head of Particle Therapy, will present the individual areas of the particle therapy facility to the visitors of the Hirntumor-Selbsthilfegruppe-Mittelhessen and answer their questions.
